YMHFA 2 Day
Provides a more in depth understanding of specific mental health issues and is delivered in four manageable chunks:
o What is mental health?
o Depression and anxiety
o Suicide and psychosis
o Self-harm and eating disorders
It focuses on the issues faced by young people today, such as cyber bullying and substance misuse, and teaches how to promote protective factors and good parenting. Completing the two day course qualifies you as a Youth Mental Health First Aider.
It will not be possible for you to leave early or miss a section of the delivery once you have booked onto the training. Please keep course dates in your diary and arrange cover for any emergencies which might crop up.
Due to the way the courses are funded, all attendees must live or work within the Lancashire county area. We are unable to accept bookings from attendees based in Blackpool or Blackburn with Darwen.
