Youth Mental Health First Aid & Suicide Awareness and Prevention

Places are free for those who live or work in the Lancashire County Council area. These training courses normally cost around £200-300 for a 2 day course, but are being offered free of charge by LCC Public Health. Because places are very limited, we do need to charge £50 per person or late cancellation and non-attendance.

Please be aware that in order to complete the course and avoid this fee you will need to attend the full course. It will not be possible for you to leave early or miss a section of the delivery. Once you’ve booked onto the training, Please keep this date in your diary and arrange cover for any emergencies which might crop up.

Who is providing the training?
The training is delivered by a pool of experienced, qualified trainers who come from a variety of backgrounds including; voluntary sector, health, schools, and self-employed trainers, as a result enhancing the delivery and applicable learning to the workplace.

Who is it for?
If you live or work in the Lancashire County Council districts and work within Children and Young People and / or Adult providing support on any level, you are eligible to apply for a free place.
