“At Safe Space the staff were all lovely and were great to talk to all the time about everything. The staff were very understanding and good to joke around with. Safe Space was great with majority of what I needed, for example: if I was struggling with money and didn’t have much food they’d help me out with whatever was spare and if I didn’t have enough money for service charge straight away it wasn’t turned into a big thing instead they’d help me by setting up a payment plan that I’d be able to afford. When I arrived my mental health wasn’t the best but with the staff always being there for me to talk if I needed and feeling like I could talk about everything it has improved massively by the time I left. Safe Space definitely made a positive impact on me, knowing I can complain about the things that are bothering me and if there is any problems where I live I can just tell the people who are supposed to fix it and they will instead of just hoping it will sort itself out. I would 100% come back to Safe Space if I needed to and could, the environment is amazing and so are the people. Anytime I’ve been told someone had been kicked out Ive recommended Safe Space to them.”
