Using Attachment Theory To Inform Our Work and Interventions (1 Day) – 17th June

June 17 @ 9:30 am - 4:30 pm

This training day will help you learn how to better understand pupils’ behaviour, relationships and emotions through using an understanding of attachment theory. We will work through case studies to apply this knowledge in order to understand pupils’ needs, and then discuss strategies staff can use to help pupils develop better relationships and engage better with school life.

All slides and resources, and additional training materials, will be available to download after the session, to enable attendees to cascade the training within their school settings.

Course Reference: LEHS3

Cancellation Policy

These training courses normally cost around £200-300 for a 2 day course, but are being offered free of charge by LCC Public Health. Because places are very limited, we do need to charge £50 per person or late cancellation and non-attendance. Please be aware that in order to complete the course and avoid this fee you will need to attend the full course. It will not be possible for you to leave early or miss a section of the delivery. Once you’ve booked onto the training, please keep this date in your diary and arrange cover for any emergencies which might crop up.
